"While illustration can flow from a fount for us, design must be drawn from different pools of knowledge within, which felt fitting as we approached the project. We connected with the music before and during the process. The color scheme is modeled loosely on colors we perceived while experiencing synesthesia (blue and yellow moods). The music’s intimacy is married to the vastness of a sky, populated by moving clouds. A rainbow with distinct layers is united in a spiral, leading into -- or rising from -- the core. This cover aims to thoughtfully mirror the album’s comparison and contrast between individual experiences within the whole, and between navigating an internal expanse within an "outside" world. As a system and as friends, it has been an honor, pleasure, and connective experience (inside and out) to work on this album art."

"The front must be shared with

late-flowering companions

and their containers.

Color is coming from all quarters.

Expectations must be realistic."

like the sun

wore the very first dawn."
